Goodbye 2012

It's less than 2 hours to the end of 2012! Oh what a year it has been!  Change has been a regular visitor.  And it has definitely challenged me.  Thankfully, I was able to go through it all without a lot of fuss and without any major incident.

I wanna recount the highlights of my year but my memory is failing me right now. Harhar.  But here are a few of them, at least those that come to mind right now. Will just try to add in a few more later if I could...

TRAVELS - I love traveling. Although it's not yet apparent in this blog, believe me when I say I do. Will just write about all the traveling later on. =)
  1. With friends - I have had two major international travels with friends for this year - Hanoi and Singapore! I can only remember one local road trip for this year - San Juan, La Union for some surfing.  There's also that trip to Bangkok with BQ.
  2. WORK TRIPS - I have been sent everywhere for work-related stuff - Jakarta (with side trip to Singapore), Subic, Cebu, Tagaytay, Pampanga, Oriental Mindoro, Legaspi and Tabaco in Albay,  Balanga and Baguio.
  3. FAMILY GETAWAYS - My family loves traveling, too. We haven't been anywhere that requires a plane or a boat though. Here's our list - Subic Treetop Adventure. Las Casas Azucar in Bataan, and Sta. Ana, Aparri and Piat in Cagayan.
DANCES and CONCERTS
  1. I only got to perform on stage once this year - in the annual variety show of my alma mater. But I got to dance in several other places - by a swimming pool in BKK, at Poro Point in La Union, by the beach in San Juan, with my cousins in Cagayan, with the Rockafellas at Universal Studios in Singapore and almost weekly at the gym.
  2. Drum Tao Show at Resorts World
  3. Maroon 5 at Araneta
  4. Fuerza Bruta at Manila Hotel
  5. LMFAO at Araneta
BANGKOK OPEN in Thailand - I try to always go to the Bangkok open to watch. It's the nearest tennis tournament and probably the cheapest to go to. I have had the opportunity to see Nadal, Murray, SImon, Monfils, Del Potro and many others in this tournament. Hoping to catch the great Fed and Novak soon!

A lot has happened at work too but I'd rather not talk about it here. Most of them are good things with just a few minor bumps. In general, work has been fruitful and fulfilling.  It was a great year for change and improvement. Hopefully, I can still keep up with the many changes that are still going to happen.

I am grateful too for that my siblings are healthy and happy.  Praying that my dad's and mom's health continue to improve. My mom has recently been diagnosed of diabetes. She's now doing well and I hope it continues. My dad has always had problems with allergies. I hope it gets better soon.

THANK YOU GOD for all these blessings that you've given me this 2012. I know a lot more is in store for me. My arms are wide open to receive all the blessings that you will shower me this 2013!
